The Museum of Dissociated Sounds welcomes you to the 2024 edition of our traveling exhibition. Our exhibition series this year marks the 100 year anniversary of the first sound being disociated through electrical extraction. The museum’s Department of Sound Capture and Preservation is carefully collecting Dissociated sounds from our 17 exhibition partner cities as part of the exhibition’s tour. Our Águeda exhibition location is at Incubadora Cultural, Parque Municipal de Alta Vila on March 16 from 15:00 to 17:00.

Visitors dive into a brief historical overview of common disociation methods, including the dangers and benefits of the process powering humans’ ability to actively perserve timelessness worldwide. Immerse yourself in the art and science of sound dissociation. Connect to a new Dissociated sound captured from the the exhibitions’ current location. Above all, listen to how the sounds guide you through a deeper understanding of the world of Dissociated sounds.
